[[ ooc- Sorry for the delay. I got myself grounded. Oops. ]]
Luce took a deep breath, but whether she noticed it or not, she still had her hand clenched tight over Larvitar's empty pokeball. Her knuckles were white from the pressure she was applying, but she tried to shrug it off. Cringing as her pokemon woke up, she was happy at least that it was resting. Maybe that was for the better.
Seel started barking wildly, concerned for her friend and her trainer. Luce jumped at the sudden sound, reaching for Seel's empty pokeball. Seel didn't look content with Luce's decision, but Luce couldn't afford to have a distraction right now. She held Seel's pokeball to her chest for false comfort.

Unfortunately for the Hoothoot, this turn happened to be the same one in which both of his opponents woke up. After taking one more hit from the 25%-healed bird, Zeus stood up and sent two streams of fire, having lost one chance at attack to his last bit of drowsiness. Larvitar woke up while Zeus attacked and quickly rushed forward after the fox's flames subsided, clamping onto the Hoothoot three times for a good bit of damage. Then the Sandstorm hit once again, getting Zeus and Hoothoot for a little damage, then the swirling sand began to slow. Luce would do well to bring the Sandstorm back if it went away in the next turn..

As Larvitar woke, Luce exhaled deeply, and instantly became calmer. She was still tense, and she clasped Seel's pokeball even closer to her chest as the bites landed. She was too wrapped up in the battle to be happy about this, though. She gripped the other pokeball on her belt as well, and just turned it about in her hand for comfort.
It looked like things were working in her favor. After sleeping, Larvitar seemed to be rejuvinated, and he had energy to spare. She called out her commands. "Three bites, at the Hoot-hoot," Though he chose to go his own way once again.

Kusan watched as his hoothoot was getting beat up by the Vulpix and the Larvitar. He watched his HootHoot still weak, her wing a bit hurt, and didn't seem able to defend herself, but still had a fighting spirit.

"Finish it." Lorelai muttered, she would love to see the little hoothoot keep going through this, "Flamethrower, all at the bird." she said. She pulled a supercpotion out of her bag just in case she would need it later.
Zeus was pumped now that he was awake and ready to battle.

Before Hoothoot could even move, Larvitar Leered twice at her and created yet another Sandstorm to cover the field. This distracted the bird, stopping her from getting Zeus with the Hypnosis at all. However, her Tackle attacks seemed to work just fine. Unfortunately, so did all three of Zeus's Flamethrowers, all of them striking the owl with such force as to singe her feathers. The third one proved to be critical, knocking Hoothoot's health down considerably.

Lorelai quickly used a Super Potion on Zeus. The little rainbow Vulpix wanted to finish off the bird that made him so angry, Lorelai felt the same. "Flamethrower. Lets see if we can roast the bird." Lorelai muttered.
Zeus nodded swiftly and prepared himself.

Kusan gripped the pokeball his hoot belonged to. He was ready to return his pokemon to her pokeball, but surely not without giving it his all. Thinking quickly he shouted out his commands to her.

Before Luce could even think properly, a whole rush of things had gone on. Flamethrowers, tackles, attempted hypnosis, and a sandstorm had been whipped up --- She hadn't ordered any of this. She hadn't been prepared for the sandstorm at all, and it hit without warning, pushing her back and hitting her in the eyes. She flinched backwards, and covered her eyes with her sleeves, turning away from the storm to get her bearings again.
In the mean time, Larvitar didn't even look back or wait for orders before leering once at Zeus, and delivering a bite to each of them.

Hoothoot managed to dodge the first Flamethrower by barely an inch as Zeus returned from his Super Potion. With a cry of anger, the little bird launched herself at her attacker and gave a hoot-like Growl, slightly lowering the fox's Attack power. This was a silly move, really, as Vulpix's Fire-type Flamethrower never depended on Attack, but Special Attack. Within this time, Larvitar had leapt into the midst of the fray, switching tactics to fight both opponents now. He gave Zeus a frightening, Defense-lowering Leer, then went for a Bite on Hoothoot, which turned out to make her flinch. Zeus immediately went for the second Flamethrower attack, singing Hoothoot's feathers once more, then leaping in vain to escape Larvitar's gnashing teeth. The attack connected on one of Zeus's tails, causing its normal amount of damage.. And of course, the Sandstorm continued to rampage the field, damaging all but Larvitar. The battle was nearing an end at last, as Hoothoot hung on by a thread and Zeus became weaker and weaker..

Though his trainer was still rubbing sand out of her watery eyes, Larvitar didn't hesitate a moment to attack once more. She didn't know how to battle, and her battle tactics were, in his opinion, completely idiotic --- Much like the girl herself. Simply thinking of how he was supposedly under her control made him angry, which would be a vice if he weren't in battle. Taking his aggression out on his opponents, he used a leer attack on Zeus, and then lunged in for a bite --- The hoothoot was useless by now, and could very well be taken down just from the sand attack.

Kusan was watching, not being able to do anything to help his hoothoot. She was being double teamed and was about faint soon. She was getting weak. He didn't want see her getting hurt any more and needed to end this battle soon. "Rena, use hypno on the larvitar. Put him to sleep." [/b]

"Use ember then flamethrower." Lorelai said, knowing the hoothoot was nearly gone. Zeus was more that ready to continue as well and he bound forward ready to continue.

First came Larvitar's misplaced anger-induced Leering, both of which were successful in lowering Zeus's Defense. The Vulpix shook himself away from the influential gaze and used a final attack on the Hoothoot, burning the bird to zero hit-points just as her Hypnosis began to work on Larvitar. The fainted bird lay there between the now-drowsy little reptile and the fox. Zeus leapt over the owl to send his pair of Flamethrowers at Larvitar, who attempted to dodge the first but crashed to the ground before he could escape.

Lorelai smiled slightly and so did Zeus. He leapt back to stand near his trainer and skillfully aimed two Flamethrowers as Lorelai took a super potion out to use.
