As Luce regained her composure, she turned around to find her pokemon asleep, and in a rather dire situation. As she had learned earlier, calling out to him would be of no use. Better to just wait it out, and hope he didn't take too much damage. It wasn't looking good, though. She reached into her bag and set aside a super potion, just in case it would be needed.

With only two combatants, this battle became a lot less confusing to deal with. Zeus loosed two Flamethrowers on Larvitar, who continued to snore away as the flames licked at his skin. He stirred slightly and seemed to look angry, but he didn't awaken.
Weather: Sandstorm in effect, non Rock-, Steel-, and Ground-typed Pokemon are harmed slightly until it subsides
Vulpix {Zeus} 48% Health 77 Energy Attack moderately lowered Defense very low
Larvitar 70% Health 67 Energy Attack slightly lowered Asleep

As Luce wiped the sand away from her moist eyes, and shielded her face with her enormous sleeves, she examined the situation. Putting emotions aside, she thought, digging her choppy fingernails into her palm with anxiety, only logic was left. And looking at this with logic, the battle was in their favor. Luce's overall attitude, though, contradicted this. Larvitar was asleep, and that narrowed their chances--- his chances, really, as it seemed he would have absolutely nothing to do with her.
The battle going on in Luce's mind wasn't the problem, though. With that, her focus turned back to the match ahead. The sandstorm was still going on, obviously, as she could barely see a foot in front of her. That's what she got for sitting so close to the field. It's also what she got for having a pokemon that held so much spite in its small body. Destiny must have hated her --- Out of all of the pokemon offered, she got one that despised her with all of its might. Though, that wasn't any reason to justify the fact that it was hurt and all. She reached into her bag and pulled out a super potion, but stopped at the last minute. She'd need to save these. As soon as he wakes up, things would be okay again. She would keep telling herself that.

A sympathic smile smile crossed Lorelai's features as Zeus jumped around in the sand storm. "Kick into hyperdrive." the trainer calmly commanded and with a nod and a perky jump the little fire fox began his attacks.
He braced himself slightly before he fired three massive flamethrowers across the field.
