ooc: Kusan named the topic xD
The weather was moderate today, Luce noted, staring up at the clouds as they made their way overhead. Time blurred as they made their way over the horizon. She didn't even notice that the cloud she had been watching, had lost it's shape and disappeared. Being snapped back into reality had its pros and cons, as Seel smacked up against her. She had been fidgeting in a fit of boredom for probably about twenty minutes while her Trainer dozed off.
Luce considered letting out her Larvitar to keep her Seel company --- Despite the fact that she wasn't well liked, they seemed to get along just fine. She gave an exhausted sigh. Figuring she had been relaxing long enough, it looked like it was time to go find something else to do that both of them could relatively enjoy. Where most would have to give a command, Seel knew just by the fact that Luce was sitting up, that they would be going somewhere. She followed willingly.

ooc: don't hate on topic name!
IC:
Kusan just got out of a local inn after spending the night. He and his hoothoot, Rena, got some much needed rest. His plan involves lots of power, and you can't have power if your tired and start to snooze in the middle of a battle. Rena was flying next to him, flapping her wings occasionally, hooting every now and then. She, nor him, had any idea were they were gonna be heading, but it seemed best to just start walking and see were you end up at.
The weather was nice, warm and dry instead of all this humidty that caused his shirts to stick to him. He was wearing a white button up collar shirt, leaving the top two undone. He had on a pair of blue jeans, and wore no shoes. He didn't worry about getting hurt on his feet much, and it not like he gonna get sunburnt there easily, like his neck which he keeps covered with his long black hair, some of it dyed red or silver.
As they made there way along through central, they reached a clear opening, were they saw a girl laying on the ground with a seel next to her. It wouldn't be the first pokemon that came to his mind when he thought about this area, but, whatever floats her boat works. He was just gonna get walk past her, maybe say a word or two to her, but thats it. However, Rena, decided it be best to have a full conversation with the girl, and decided to start flying towards the girl and to land on the seels head and greet herself to the other person. Kusan sighed and started walking to her, wondering how this would play out.

Ooc: No hate XD
The sudden sound of wing-beats moving past her head caused Luce to jump back a bit, but as soon as she realized there was no threat, her blood pressure once again dropped to normal. The hoothoot had landed directly on top of her Seel's head, but Seel didn't seem to mind, therefore she wasn't bothered. Hoothoot weren't native to this area, that she knew of, so how did it get here? Glancing around she found her answer more quickly than she would have hoped.
She wasn't sure whether he was coming towards her, or just coming to retrieve his pokemon. If the latter was the case, she didn't want to draw too much attention to herself. Social skills had never been her forte, so she just stared at her Seel and hoped that everything brushed by without much trouble.
Seel seemed to be enjoying the new company, clapping its front flippers together in an awkward motion and barking happily.

Kusan looked at the girl as she saw Rena fly past her and land on the seels head. Her eyes were closed and was flapping her wings, though she was staying in placing, hooting loudly to show she is having fun. He didn't want to interupt the pokemons fun, but if the other person had to leave, he would too. Best to play this by ear and see how it goes.
He walked up the girl, and did a slight nod at her, then reached his hand out to her as to give a handshake to say hello. "Hello, My name is Kusan. Sorry for the intruision, she sometimes does that. Always trying to make new freinds." Kusan then stopped talking, not knowing what else to say. He could stay and countinue to have a chat with her, or just leave and get on with planning world domination. Either way he goes won't make a diffrence, just so long everything gets done in the end.

Nodding stiffly in return, she reached out her hand, struggling for a moment to pull the sleeve away. They really were much too long, but that was how she liked it, and that was how they would stay. He gave his hand a light shake, sleeve dropping over her hand once again. She frowned before returning her hand to her side and clutching her sleeves again as a mechanism to keep herself calm. She really did need to get into society more often. It was inevitable that she would meet people along the way, and she couldn't always be this inexperienced about it. People would perceive her as childish.
Realizing she was tense, she allowed her shoulders to drop and took a deep breath before speaking. "Seel does that too. I mean, runs off. To other people. Too much . . . energy. Yeah." She paused, knowing that she was forgetting something, before tacking on, "Luce. I'm Luce. Fulmine. Luce Fulmine." That went well enough. She glanced over at Seel once more to make sure that everything was going well. Indeed, her companion clapped several times before barking again. She clutched the unopened pokeball on her belt, deciding whether or not to let Larvitar out. She didn't want to cause any trouble, for herself or otherwise.

Kusan gave a smile at the girl as they shook hands. Everything was going good so far. She didn't have the best sense in style with her baggy and reallly long sleeved shirts, but he didn't have any room to judge. He put one hand in his pocket, and used the other hand for him to motion for his HootHoot to come back and land on his shoulder. He then his arm drop and rest at his side. He really had no idea as of what to do now, and trying to strike up a conversation didn't do anything either. He countinued to look at her, and noticed she was clutching something. It looked like a pokeball. Maybe she has another pokemon. Can't hurt to ask.
"Luce, if you don't mind me asking, do you happen to have another pokemon with you? I would like to see it, if its ok with you." He didn't know how she would respond or if she even did have another pokemon, but maybe this help him to get to know her a bit better, and re-strike the conversation.

After a few moments of silence, the male spoke again. She glanced upwards, muttering an unneeded, "What?", though she had heard him the first time. "Oh, ah," She drew her hand away from the pokeball, but decided otherwise, unhooking it from her belt and staring at it.
"I do. But . . . " She frowned, and positioned her index finger over the button that sealed it. One press of this button and the little terror would be out to do as he pleased. But she was his master, and just because he disliked her, didn't mean that he had to stay in his pokeball all the time. Maybe that was part of why he disliked her. "He's a bit . . . uhn. Here."
Pressing down on the button, the familiar red light shot to the ground a good distance away from her, before the Larvitar materialized in it's place. She tucked the ball back into her belt, and averted her eyes, so as not to meet it's distasteful glare. Though, just from his annoyed cries, she could tell he was frustrated.

Kusan watched and listened as the girl hesitated to get her pokebal and release her pokemon from its ball. Maybe its a rare and she afraid somebody will steal it, or, could it possibly be, that she actually scared of her own pokemon? But if thats the case, why not try and give it some discipline, show who's boss. But, I can't decide what she does, lets just see what shows up and what is its immediate reaction, maybe he can learn about it. He watched the girl put her arm in front of her, and press the button on the pokeball, releasing the creature inside it, which was a shock to Kusan.
As the creature started materalized, he instantly recognized what it was. It was a larvitar! Not the strongest pokemon at it current level or stage, but its final form was a giant, massive, terrifying beast, a Tyranitar! Kusan was planning on having one of these before he toke over and got complete domination of the region, but he also wanted some powerful allies he could use to help him out, and the sooner this happened, the better. He stared at the larvitar as it gave some cries, showing he was frustrated with her trainer. Weather it was because he didn't like her, or just didn't like the situation, he didn't know. But he would like to find out.
He looked at Luce and asked in a simple manner. “Why he seem, well, so angry?” [/b] He made it sound like he genuinely cared, but he mainly was intrested in the larvitar. He however, managed to keep eye contact with Luce, until Rena decided to go make another friend, and started flapping its wings, hooting and flying around the Larvitar, saying hello to him. After a few circles she landed in front of the larvitar and stared at him, sticking a wing out in front of her to try and do what their masters did earlier and give a handshake, and maybe have a freindship also.

As the male stared at the little tyrant that was released from the capsule, Luce shrunk a bit. Was he perhaps eyeing it because it was so disobedient? Or maybe, because he didn't think someone like her could train it? Whatever the reason, she averted her eyes and pretended the situation wasn't happening. That's what she did best, is to turn a blind eye when something inconvenient was going on.
As its frustration was interrupted by the newcoming pokemon, its mood seemed to switch entirely. She bit her lip, watching it reach out and lightly grab the tip of the Hoothoot's wing, giving it a shake. Though she knew that it was probably an innocent gesture, she couldn't help but wonder in the back of her mind if maybe, just maybe, he was mocking her. Though surely he couldn't have that much malice against her --- She hadn't done anything. And if she thought it was bad now, she almost hoped it never reached its full evolved form. Needless to say that she'd be evolving him into a pupitar as soon as possible.
As soon as she was sure that Larvitar was distracted, she raised her head again to answer the male's question. Her mind had drifted, and his voice had barely phased her. "He, well," How to phrase this. When she ordered him into battle, he did so without second thought, though he usually ignored her move requests and did whatever he pleased. In every other situation . . . "He . . . doesn't seem to like me very much." A hesitation. "I got him in a raffle. Maybe it's like a trade . . . " Sigh.

Lorelai wondered the streets, slowly eyeing her new surroundings. She then caught glance of two trainers that caught her interest. Apparently Zeus was also interested in the trainers. He dashed towards them, Lorelai a pace behind him.
The two stopped a foot away from the group and Lorelai smiled, "Hello." She said with a grin, "I am Lorelai Knight." she told them. Her vulpix rubbed his head against her leg as if to remind her that was there, "And this is Zeus." She added

Kusan watched as the HootHoot and the Larvitar decided to shake hands. It didn't seem to like his trainer, but it seemed to get along with others. Far as Kusan can see, it just seems to want do everything it can to piss Luce off. Rena kept hooting loudly to show she was happy, but now it was starting to annoy him and he was about to tell her to stop. "You got him in a trade? Maybe he just bored or needs you show your the boss, take control." He then countinued to think, looking at both pokemon and decided a way to test their strength. "Have you ever had a battle? It might be able to help you out, but thats up to you."
He waited for a reply, when he saw a vulpix and a small girl behind it aproaching them. He turned around to get a better looked and nodded at the girl. She introduced herself as Lorelai, and the vulpix as Zeus. "Well, hello there. I'm Kusan, Kusan Kurai. That hoothoot you see over there is Rena." He then looked at Luce and figured he introduce her also. "Thats Luce, and the larvitar and the seel there belong to her." He then decided to see what shall happen next and play his cards from there.

Taking control didn't seem so bad. Luce had thought about it many times, but she was a fairly passive person. There had to be some medium, though, where she wasn't being stepped on but wasn't being harsh, either. She thought on that for a moment, until she caught word of a battle.
"I mostly avoided battling on the way here. Everyone else was---" She followed his gaze to to the new arrival. She called herself Lorelai, and she had a vulpix along with her, apparently named Zeus. It made her feel almost left out that she didn't find the need to name her pokemon, but she quickly brushed those unnecessary feelings aside.
When Kusan introduced her, she cast her eyes down once again and waved her fingers slightly, hoping she could just be glazed over once again. It would probably be a good idea to finish the thought she was having earlier, but her mind was somewhere else by this time entirely, trying to decipher a language in the way the grass bent or something.

"Hello Kusan." Lorelai said with a smile and the she turned to Luce, "Nice to meet you Luce." After several moments of quiet Lorelai spoke once more, "Where are you two off to?" she asked.

Kusan smiled back at Lorelai, and toke a glance at her vuplix. It looked strong and it looked like it could fight, but that all depends on skill, weather he, or her trainer has it, he don't know. He then looked back at luce, and then at Rena, noticing she was standing next to the larvitar, wondering if she should go and talk to the vulpix, but she decided to stay next to the larvitar and wait for the vulpix to approach her before anything. Kusan wanted to have a battle, and test out the strength of their pokemon, but he can't make it sound like he battle hungry, he gonna have figure something out.
He looked at Luce, who he saw was looking at the grass as it bent in the wind flowing pass them flawlessly. "Well, your gonna have to battle sometime. After this area the wild pokemon only get stronger and stronger, and unless we do some training, we are gonna get our ass kicked out there. But we have a pretty strong team, so I think we be good." [/i] Kusan looked down at his hoothoot, knowing that soon she will have to stop being so playful and have to become a fighting machine, otherwise he won't be able take over like he plans on doing once he gets the needed strength.
He then looked back at Lorelai so he can answer her question about where they are gonna go after they leave this place. "Well, actually, me and Luce just met, so I don't know if we are gonna travel together or not, but if we do, then I suggest we head on out of here and see where the roads take us and what happens along the ways." [/b] He knew it wasn't the best answer or explanation, but it was decent, considering he really didn't care much about them at all, but power was needed, the sooner, the better. Now, lets see how this goes.

Luce, who was quite absorbed in whatever it was she was looking at, barely heard the girl greet her. After a moment, she turned her head back up, and nodded to her. Figuring that this wasn't going to just brush over as she would have liked, she reluctantly sat down and disturbed the grass that had curved so delicately in the wind. Such things were unnecessary, though, so she soon released any frustration she had on the subject.
She turned her attention then towards the male that was speaking to her once again, and nodded awkwardly. Battling was inevitable, if she intended to travel and explore this new region, she'd have to get stronger. From what she had heard in the Sinnoh region, this place was dangerous, still recovering from a war, and some of the areas in particular did not seem like a place one should go to unarmed. She didn't particularly want to battle --- A poor excuse for a trainer, one might think.
Though apparently, from the anxious cries of Larvitar, and the way he waved his arms enthusiastically at Kusan's Hoothoot, he liked the idea quite a bit and planned on doing it with or without her. Maybe this would be a good time to try to 'make herself into the boss', or whatever had been said earlier. Lost in her thoughts, she missed the conversation of battling together completely, and instead zoned back in with only, "Would you like to? Battle . . . ?"
