Character Study 1: Rogos
Rogos is a nice little fellow. Rather eager to please. Must be careful with him, though; if he fails at something, he might get discouraged. A gentle scolding will do in these situations. He won't have to fight for his dinner. In cases of failure, make sure he knows its his own fault for being inadequate, not mine for being a bad trainer (no matter how much of a lie that is.).
If repeat failures start, give him a break. Catch another Pokemon and train it, let him see how successful that one is. Let him get jealous; inspire him to do as best he can.
Upon constant failures: try, try again. With a little guy like this, trading away or retirement will only cause him to lose faith and hinder the rest of the team's progress.
