Jessica is the image of a troubled past. Her arms are slashed, although her clothes hide the worst. Her eyes shows 15 years of pain, as much as she tries to hide it. Her hair is black, reaching to her legs. She owns a shiny skarmory feather necklace. She likes to wear fingerless gloves, to climb rough terrain. She has a black hip-pack, to carry pokeballs and such. Her shoes are hard leather being though years of turmoil. She wears a rainbow hairpin, which sparkles with the colors of the rainbow. Her legs are also slashed, she wears stockings to hide her legs. As if it wasn't enough she's scarred, she is also a bit physically weak, born a month before the day she was supposed to be born, so she is about 5"7and an early bird.
Personality: Three words can describe Jessica: Rebellious, Self motivated, and easily pissed off. Jessica is a pure rebel. She is pretty much a rival to anybody. If Jessica joined the military, she'd be kicked out after Mission 1 because of her rebellious personality. Despite that, She is self motivated. She can motivate herself to capture Pokemon and other things. But beware! She can be as easily pissed off as walking. Not every little thing can piss her off, but sometimes it can.

Birth - 3 years
Jessica was born prematurely to Annie and Mark Alta, in New Bark Town. She survived, but left Annie dead and Mark with a hatred of his only daughter. Her mother left a Skarmory and a Delcatty in Marks care. Delcatty and Skarmory immediately became the mother Jessica would never have. They cared for her, defended her from her fathers attacks, and taught her lessons before she went to school.
3-7
Jessica went to school when she was four and a half because it was the law in New Bark. She learned much more then Delcatty and Skarmory could ever teach her. The knowledge she learned at school increased the knowledge that Delcatty and Skarmory taught her. Her father, however, became a alcoholic, and married a strict woman that made Lady Tremaine (Disney's Cinderella) look like she was the kindest person in the world, right when she was 6.
7-10
Her 7th birthday was her last day of school, because Lady Emmabelle would use her as a slave. Skarmory and Delcatty would be sold for allot of money. Skarmory and Delcatty, however, fought back. They held their ground against Lady Emmabelles Gallade and Gardivour to protect Jessica. Lady Emmabelle then murdered Delcatty, leaving Skarmory to fend for himself against Gallade and Gardivour. The next skirmish almost killed Skarmory, but a Sneasel protected him. She had a message to deliver to Jessica anyway. After the two psychic types fled, Sneasel and Skarmory went to Jessica. The message said that Sneasel was an old friend of Jessica's mother and was caught by one of her friends. It was a birthday present and Jessica named her Glacier.
10-12
Glacier, Skarmory, and Jessica often explored the backwoods, often not returning home for hours. Lady Emmabelle was very angry and finally took Glacier and Skarmory prisoner to punish Jessica. She also had Gallade beat and scar Jessica. Skarmory was then murdered by Gallade. Glacier took off one of Skarmory's steel feathers and made a necklace out of it. She returned to Jessica with Skarmory's dead body, along with the dagger Gallade used to kill Skarmory. Glacier then used the same dagger and murdered Gallade as revenge for the death of Skarmory and Jessica's pain. Mark and Lady Emmabelle commanded Gardivour to beat Jessica, believing she was the reason of Gallades murder. Gardivour pretended to hurt Jessica, but was hitting lightly, trying not to hurt Jessica. She was rewarded with a ticket to her freedom, to the friend that sent Glacier.
13-15
Jessica finally had enough. After she recovered, she left New Bark Town and traveled to the ports. She found a ship that led to Altairen. After weeks of sea, she landed in Altairen and was kidnapped into the military. Of course, her years of torment made her rebellious, thus she was discharged. Not that she cared, She stayed at one of her mothers friends house until she was old enough to become a trainer. By then, Glacier and Jessica were inseparable.
